You will learn everything you need to get confident behind a sewing machine! *** This class is a pre-req for all the classes that we offer, if you have never used a machine before. We want everyone to get as much as possible out of their classes, so this will help jumpstart your journey into sewing! *** Come learn how to use your machine! Learn how to thread, fill a bobbin, thread tension, what size needle for what project, troubleshooting, and how to do a simple cleaning on your machine! *** This is your start to the awesome world of sewing! *** Supplies Needed: Thread (available for purchase at the shop if you do not have some) *** Sewing Machine Manual (if you bring your machine) *** Your sewing machine (if you do not have one, no problem! We have 3 machines that are available for use! - just let us know when signing up that you will need one) *** Please check our class policies. Please drop off your machine and then park in the lot across the street with our cars. The lot on Wayne next to PRESS will tow!! We want to be considerate neighbors and would like to leave the 2 hour spots open for PRESS’s customers and customers that will be turning the spot quickly.
